OK gang, here is the reference photo, taken by a friend of mine - her beautiful daughters at a hoedown. Remember that the goal of this group is to create something from this reference. Everyone's entry will be different - which is great, just be sure to use this photo as your starting place.Your entry should be posted on your blog and/or on the VSD Flickr group. If you are posting your entry on Flickr please use the tag VSD_MAY2009.
What you need to know...
- After you have posted your entry on your blog, come here and enter your name and the URL for your VSD blog post into the Mr. Linky widget. Then press enter. As always, please link directly to your specific VSD post and not to your blog's main page.
- The Mr. Linky widget will be removed on the following Sunday, June 7th.
When you enter your information into the Mr. Linky widget, it will automatically create the link list. Please come back and check the entries of your fellow VSDers. One of the best things about VSD is the support amongst our participants.

BMoon, sorry, there isn't a larger version of the photo, this is it.
For those who want a larger image, I'd suggest saving this to your hard drive, then using your own graphic editor to enlarge it.
The quality won't be wonderful, but it may help.

Sorry, I posted but did not link. I did not get back in time to link. Hope you will all take a look on my blog or Flickr. Hope the Parents do not take out a Hit on Me!!! I really enjoyed doing this --- It is to Honor Picasso. I have never seen a Picasso with Children as the focus.

I don't do people very well so I used a hat of my own that looks like the one in the photo and set up a still life and then did a pastel painting of it.

I'm still working on my painting, I didn't realize it would be due this past Sunday. I hope I'll still be able to post when I finish it, I hope to have it completed by the end of this week.
Victoria, actually, you definitely have another week. We have been subtly given people a second week over the last few months. It used to be one week, but it has morphed to two.

Normally we use the Mr. Linky widget to list the links to everyone's entry. However, Mr. Linky is having major problems. So, this month people can post their links here and put their photo in our flickr group

Forgot to say I enjoyed viewing everyones paintings and drawings while I was on flickr. Interesting how we all interpret the same photo so differently.
