Just to let everyone know, we'll be posting the reference image on Friday May 22nd (this Friday!) Then everyone will have until Sunday the 31st to post their link with the widget.

About Virtual Sketch Date
This blog is set up to help administer monthly virtual sketch dates. Once a month a group of artists bands together and draw from the same reference image for a week. At the end of the week, each artist posts their image on their blog.
Want to join?
1. Once a month, a reference image is posted.
2. Sketch, draw or paint from the image.
3. Post your art work on your blog.
4. Send an email to "virtualsketchdate@gmail.com" with "VSD post link" in the subject line. In your email include your name and the link to your VSD blog post.
5. Upload your photo to Flickr with the tag for the month and add it to the VSD group
On the Sunday after the sketch date a post will be made on this blog with a list of the links to all entries. (That list will be made from the emails, so be sure to email to be included.)
Please try to link to the post itself on your blog, not just your blog, as people may visit the site at varying times and want to go straight to your image.

Guidelines for Virtual Sketch Date Reference Images
- * Resolution must be at least 800px by 600px (higher resolutions uploaded to Flickr are greatly appreciated)
- * All photos must be "suitable for work"
- * No camera phones
- * No blurry images
- * Natural light is preferred to using a flash
